Diagnosis

Head. Elongate and narrowing toward antenna in lateral view. Arista dorso-apical with proximal half white and distal half brown. Antennal base elongate; yellowish-brown and clothed with dense yellow pruinescence and consequently opaque; with short but conspicuous black setae and one row of short setae ventrally. Frons narrows posteriorly; anterior margin slightly convex, but not projecting between antennal bases. Occiput dorsally, downwards posteriorly. Parafacial very narrow. Vibrissa absent.  Thorax. Lateral katepisternal spine-like seta present. Basicosta with two well-developed setae. Fore coxa yellow with two antero-apical setae. Mid and hind coxae with two and one lateral setae, respectively. Femora thin and almost cylindrical. Syntergite 1+2 with 2−3 lateral setae subequal to anterior notopleural seta and 2−3 conspicuous marginal setae, not inserted in a protuberance.
